After going through the process to become a HUD agent. I was pretty excited about selling these foreclosured homes. So every Friday. I use to check and see the new homes that were listed by HUD. So before I would show any clients the properties. I would go and examine them myself. After inspecting the HUD homes it became pretty clear why these properties sat ont the market for a desire time. I've walked in and had floors missing. I think its a hard change when you walk into the bedroom and you can see all the way down to the ground. Other HUD properties I've walked into are no where close to act in instruct. Out of all the HUD homes I looked at only about one was in good condition. I thought these would be bargins but they turned out to be just as expensive as any nice house in the neighborhood. Is there some type of conspiracy with HUD and the appraisers?
